Tightness?

If you watch a player over a period of time (let’s say 10 hands) and see he only plays 2 hands out of those 10, you call this player “tight”. Unless he is going for a pure bluff, he will never show down 72o. Then why do other calculators deal this player 72o on occasion and apply this unlikely hand to the computation? If I have my entire tournament at stake, this particular hand and I am faced with decision to call “all in” while holding a small pair (66) against one player—I must consider how tight my opponent is. Assuming every hand you are against to be 72o, sends you to the rails pretty fast. This calculator allows you to select any player’s tightness level. If we set tightness level of our tight opponent to 20%, this calculator will “deal” that player only the top 20% of hands, assuming ranking from AA all the way down to 72o, our calculator will never give 72o to a player you designate as "tight". The tight player will always have a decent hand. This feature is unique to HoldemOdds. This is what makes it the best! If you wish to see the same results other calculators offer, set all players tightness level to 100% and compare results. While at 100% tightness level we offer same mathematical results as other calculators, the situation is drastically different when that level is adjusted.

“Full Deck”?

We guarantee you our formula plays with a "full deck". If we randomly assign any one card to a player, we will not reissue it this hand--we show you this while calculation is being done by displaying last played/calculated hand in light green color.

Customizable number of hands?

This calculator lets you choose the number of random hands generated to produce the end result. More hands simulated, more precise the calculation.
